FORCE OF LIFE AND NATURE BY GEORG H. MONRAD-KROHN

FORCE OF LIFE AND NATURE
Is it a tree or a water fountain or…? Does it really matter??
We all see Art, especially abstract Art different, through the glasses of our own experiences, our preferences and personal taste. Therefore, no one will see the same, and that's the beauty of it!
For me, this painting is about the infinite power and force of life, in nature as in humans, around us and inside us. When you get really close to the painting you may see small and hidden figures … 😉
This oil painting was sold to a private art collector, but it is still on display in my gallery for another week. Then begins my summer vacation ☀️🏝🏄‍♂️ Happy Sunday! 😁

Fun painting assignment - Georg H. Monrad-Krohn Art Studi

Most of the time, I paint abstract paintings, but in between I take on assignments to paint portraits, a family, dogs or a given landscape. This oil painting should be a surprise gift and I got a photo to paint after - and otherwise completely free hands. The client came to my studio and we had a long and good chat about what he wanted with the painting. It became a very fun mission!

Georg H Monrad Krohn Art Studio - Oct 2017

My Art Studio in Oslo - Georg H. Monrad-Krohn

I simply love my workplace, my Art Studio in Oslo, at Fagerborg! It's located at the center of Oslo, in an old classic large apartmen on the top floor with lots of light and lots of space. I have two rooms where I paint daily, a smaller studio where I paint in the morning where the morning sun comes in, and a big room where I paint on the daytime, evening and nights. There is paint on the floors, walls and ceilings ... In addition, I have several other rooms with large wall surfaces where I show my paintings and art prints, a library with a fireplace, a large dining room, a kitchen and two other rooms. Even at one of the guest toilets, art is exhibited! Visitors love being here, they can be here for hours, just watching, smelling, feeling the whole atmosphere at an authentic studio. I often serve Crémant and Danish pastry to the art experience for those who book a Private Art Viewing in my studio, that makes the mood even better… Link...
